Hi! I'm Thomas. I completed my Ph.D. in economics at the City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate Center in 2017, and am currently a Quantitative Fellow at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.
I'm interested in studying the macroeconomic effects of changing inequality as it relates to finance, history, politics, and technology.
Prior to graduate school, I worked as an economist for the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) for five years, while moonlighting as a concert photographer in New York City. I almost always prefer to be skiing, swimming, or sailing. And as a proud Czech from Madison, WI, I adore all things Wisconsin and Česky.
